I was recovering from major surgery and it was really the last thing on my mind. After two days of frustration we sat down at the coffee shop on the corner of Hillsdon and Goldsborough Roads, ready to pack up and go home to Port Macquarie. We noticed an 'Auction' sign on a very lovely colonial and rang Carol Roberts to see what it was about. She informed us that it had passed in at auction that morning and agreed to show it to us at 5.30 or that evening, giving up her Saturday night effectively as we stayed for over an hour. Carol also agreed to come back the next morning (Sunday) early, so we could see it again and this time we spent well over two hours looking at the house and negotiating with her. She was to the point, very professional and extremely generous to give up her time on the weekend for us in this 'sellers market' when we knew how busy she was.
